The answer to Rove and the GOP moderates?

Conan: “To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.”

Seriously, though. We should fight in the primaries to nominate the most articulate, conservative candidates. If we’re unfortunate enough to lose to a squish, then we should then vote to elect the lesser of two evils. However, we really need to give the moderates, especially unhinged incumbents like McCain, a serious run for their money in the primaries. Make ‘em earn it if nothing else!

Maybe I’m wrong, but I won’t vote for the lesser of two evils. I would rather have no one than to give another spineless person power within the GOP system. All that does is further dilute any power conservatives might have within the GOP.

I would rather have no one than increase the denominator.

Conservatives/GOP = x%

Conservatives/(GOP +1 more RINO) = y%

Y is smaller than X.

...thus by voting for the “lesser of two evils” you are destroying any chance for conservatism in the GOP...in the long run.

Of course saving the conservative voice in the GOP is probably a bridge too far.
