Conservative radio host Mark Levin went after former George W. Bush advisor, Karl Rove, during his radio show on Monday after Rove announced the formation of a new PAC that would aid moderate Republican politicians against tea party challengers in primary races. Levin called Roves effort diabolical and listed the many GOP officeholders who would not be in power but for the tea party insurgency.
Were being stabbed in the back, Levin declared.
Heres a project funded by crony capitalists, funded by corporatists who are not conservative funding a group called the Conservative Victory Project, Levin began. This is the sort of thing Barack Obama does; this is a thing Marxists do; they give a name to themselves which has nothing to do with what theyre really up to in order to try and control the propaganda.
Im just showing you how diabolical this effort is, Levin continued.
He read a portion of the mission statement of the new PAC, taking issue most with the organizations stated agenda of imposing discipline on the Republican Party. Levin listed a number of sitting Republican officeholders who emerged from the primary process backed by tea party support. Levin suggested that it was the tea party which imposed discipline on the GOP.
The diversity that comes to the Republican Party is through the conservative and tea party movement, not through the Republican establishment, Levin said. They backed [Charlie] Crist in Florida. They backed the moderate lieutenant governor in Texas. They put up a moderate attorney general in Kentucky to try and beat Rand Paul. They backed the moderate-to-liberal Republican longtime serving Senator Bob Bennett serving in Utah.

So which is worse, being stabbed in the back, or shooting yourself in the foot? Repeatedly.
Hurts either way.
The Karl Rove Republicans are no different from the Democrats, they hate the middle class and feel secure within their gated communities attending cocktail parties with their elite, celebrity friends, conspiring against honest, true, hard working Americans that pay for their wealth and power to play the political game!
Suet pudding just came out of the closet is all. Well, one of his closets, anyway.
Once again Establishment Republicans show they are more interested in keeping their own power than in winning elections or protecting the Constitution.
They always fight reform in their own party harder than they fight democrats.
And they don’t mind continuing as second fiddle to the democrats as long as they get their share of the spoils.
It will force the Tea Party movement to go “independent” and form a 3rd party. That will happen.
Well, our task is clear. Support Tea Party patriots. Oppose anyone funded by Karl Rove and his statist PAC. It’s really that simple.
Unfortunately this may mean a win for Obama in 2014 and cost us 2016, but at some point we can no longer just go along with Rove & Co’s GOP-e simply because they think we have “no where else to go” and will end up voting for their guys:
Bob Dole
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Really, how many times must we be hit in the head by these guys?
Stock up on supplies. We need to be in this for the long haul.
It may cost us a few battles in the near term, but as we withhold our votes from the GOP-e and the losses pile up they will learn the lesson that they need to learn.
I agree, people need to stop whining and get involved with taking over their local county GOP and building alliances for the long term. That’s how we win at the local level.
In the back??
Didnt Levin hate Rove the day before he found out about this?
Excess drama alert!
Can’t wait to give them a good old fashioned cussing when they call asking for money!! That will be one solicitation call I will be waiting for......lol!!
“It may cost us a few battles in the near term, but as we withhold our votes from the GOP-e and the losses pile up they will learn the lesson that they need to learn.”
You’re kidding right. The only thing they’ll learn is to be more moderate. All they care about is winning and they don’t care whose vote gives them the win.

GAME ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to proudly fly your Gadsden Flags, ( I have the black background too), and attend your local RINO Cave-In Meetings.
The Democrats want Communism. The GOP-e wants socialism.
I do not care if I am the last person who believes that our Founding Fathers were given a gift by our Creator that we have now absolutely squandered, but I am willing to get out from behind my keyboard and make my contribution and sacrifice.
Amazing, the energy and vigor the GOP-E has when it comes to attacking the tea party and grassroots conservatives... energy and vigor it never seems to display when going up against Obama and the Dems.
On Thursday's Mark Levin Show: Mark says that the First Amendment was defended today when the Supreme Court stood up for liberty in their decision in “Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission.” Mark speaks with David Bossie of Citizens United as they discuss how the Court's decision upheld free political speech and the impact of it. The leftists don't want us to have free speech; they want to run our lives and re-write the Constitution. .

LOL
“new PAC that would aid moderate Republican politicians”
That “PAC” has a name RINO Rove. It is called the RNC. I have watched the establishment RINO RNC fund fellow limpwrist RINOs while forcing primary-winning Tea Party candidates fend for themselves in the general election. The GOP can stick it from now on. I am now a “straight” ticket voter - Tea Party.
It’s funny. I never saw Rove as the enemy when the drive-by media was attacking him daily during the Bush years. I even defended him. But after his attack on Christine O’Donnell, I’ve changed my mind and told him in an email. He responded defending his position, but I’ve not trusted him since.
The Great One is afraid of no one. God bless him. Bob
,,, the half ounce of respect I had for Carl has been used up a long while ago . Elitist , establishment , RINO’s are killing the GOP .
In the end, Mark Levin and Rush always end up getting on board with whoever Karl Rove and the establishment Republicans shove down our throat. As long as Karl Rove can count on this he doesn’t need to worry about Levin’s rants. Levin needs to stop immediately jumping down the throat of anyone who even mentions third party. Until enough people actually abandon the Republican party nothing will change. I think Levin and Rush could go a long way toward making that happen.

Bond: "What do you want. Do you want be to be a RINO like you?"
Backstabber Rove: "No, Mr. Bond. I want you to die."
Rove is friggin nuts. His definition of big tent is everyone in the tent except conservatives. The tea party candidates are our only hope.
Oh for Heaven’s sake. WHO in their right mind ever believed Karl Rove was a conservative- in the first place?
Listen- the real conservative movement has been taken over by elite government snobs. Rove is a player. They are all in it together- and putting on a show. We have known this for many years.
Look at what these people do for a “job”. They have the most pampered and cushy jobs- tons of perks, cocktail parites, and limos and travel.... and hookers and sex and money and power.
Every so often they take turns on who plays the hat check crew at the gala event.. but they are all in it.
The easiest way to overtake a movement is to join in and then water it down.
Karl Rove was never a Conservative!!! None of them are.
Wake up people.
Deluded. Stop getting distracted about a Third Party. The GOP already has the infrastructure in place, ballot access, funds and everything else. Take over the local county GOP and that’s how we win.
TAKE BACK THE GOP >
Seems more appropriate to have a winning strategy then to stick with one thats been proven a losing strategy.
That means taking a look at what we are doing and communicating. It doesn’t mean become more moderate.
Jindals comments that the GOP has been stupid were right on track.
So why is this bad ?
Anyone mad at SarahPac ?
Palin, Rove, Goose, Gander.
Frankly, I would have been happier with Sue Loudon instead of Sharon Angle, Jane Norton instead of Ken Buck, and Bozo the clown instead of Todd Akin.
I will say that Teaparty had it right with Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio.
Dubya’s nickname for Rove is half right.
Hannity needs to stop calling him "The Architect", he wore that suck-up title out a long time ago. I want to throw up every time I hear Hannity introduce him with that "title".
I think it’s appropriate.
The Architect of No Child Left Behind
The Architect of the Department for Homeland Security
The Architect of the Iraq War
The Architect of Medicare Part D
The Architect of “Deficits don’t matter”
The Architect of losing the House and Senate in 2006 and even worse in 2008
The Architect of TARP and Wall Street Bailouts
The Architect of practically destroying the GOP’s credibility on the economy, healthcare, foreign policy and everything else.
Yep, the Architect is about right.
While the GOP certainly doesn’t need the likes of rove and other traitors, they do need some discipline to keep numbskulls like akin, mourdock and other foot-in-mouth sufferers off the ticket.
TAKE BACK THE GOP >
bttt
The minimun-wage solicitor, likely a “low-information voter”, will have not the foggiest idea of what you would be complaining about. The real culprit will never hear your voice.

Yet ANOTHER RINO Luvin’ NOOB!
Absolutely correct. Both McCain and Romney mercilessly bludgeoned their Republican primary opponents and then went completely flaccid when confronting Obama.
Add Dede Scazfaba (R-NY)to that list. We lost that conservative seat to the Dem. in that debacle.
Great if we could do it. But it would still be a party composed of about half RINO's like Rove, Boehner, McConnell, etc. and half conservatives. I don't care to belong to a party like that. I'm ready to start over, even though would be tough at first. Trying to take over a party that is rotten to the core is not working very well and I don't think it ever will.
As I said it’s deluded. The Libertarian Party has been a third party for 40 years and has made little progress. The GOP is part of the two party system in people’s mind - for better or worse - and has all the infrastructure in place. Take it over at a local level. Everything else is a distraction.
Lindsey Graham might have a challenger for her seat in ‘14. Just announced yesterday that there is “a 50% chance that State Sen. Lee Bright will run.
This is one of the many “moderates” that have to go. Thank God that SC has Sen. Tim Scott to counter Graham’s damage in the Senate.
Sadly, yep, as certain as sunrise.
Levin needs to stop immediately jumping down the throat of anyone who even mentions third party. Until enough people actually abandon the Republican party nothing will change. I think Levin and Rush could go a long way toward making that happen.
FRiend, it is easier and more gratifying for them to rail against Obama and liberal Democrats, as if that ever accomplished a friggin' thing.
Levin and Rush are like watchdogs who waste so much time barking at the mailman out front that burglars step in through the back door, clean out the house, and murder the homeowners. But by golly, the "watchdogs" are sure giving that damned mailman what-for!
People, valuable assets on our side and threats to Obama and his gang are being methodically eliminated by design. Kyle's death was the latest of dozens, yet Levin and Rush won't touch it with a ten-foot pole. Too many people would call them "kooks," and we can't have that!
Just as they were too weak to back most of we conservative Americans when we said NO to Romney. Rush and Levin, if they were really what they need to be, would have screamed bloody murder, refused Romney outright at the very beginning, drawn the line in the sand that the rest of us did (Romney LOST because of it), and refused a GOP that crossed it. Instead, Rush and Levin "got on board" and LOST. Maybe it's because they're too afraid of being rejected, or maybe it's because they and their loved ones have been threatened. Regardless, they're watchdogs barking at the mailman while bad guys waltz in the back door: enablers of harm.
Okay, Levin. What are you specifically doing to recruit and elect conservatives? Anyone can rant and rave on the radio.
1. There are plenty of ‘third parties’, find one and support it.
2. Levin supported Bachmann and Santorum in the primaries, neither bothered to get on the ballot in VA. They must of have been really interested in being president.
3. Levin explained his position on supporting Romney, it was no brainer.
“...Karl Rove Republicans are no different from the Democrats, ...”
So true!! This is why we need term limits for ALL of these politicians who care more about climbing the DC social ladder and getting invited to the “right” parties in the Beltway. They ALL need to go home, RINO’s, democrats, all of them.
I agree with what you say. I believe competition within the GOP will produce the better candidate. Remember this, Akin was not the Tea Party candidate, Sarah Steelman was.
Won't happen. The party pooh-bahs are changing the rules at every level, beginning at the Tampa convention, and hoarding its cash in order to freeze the TEA Party movement out.
The Republican Party is beyond repair at this point, so the quicker it burns to the ground, the quicker we can build a new Conservative Party.
We’re (the tea party) doomed without leadership and direction. It’s up to you, Rush, & Sarah to focus the efforts of the tea party. A hefty responsibility, I know, but it’s the truth. A loose coalition of local tea party groups worked in 2010, but with the re-election of Obama, we’re disheartened.
Bright for Brighter future? That could work. I will send him money.
