I think that in simplest terms, the people who demonize and are actively working for the destruction of Israel as the same people who hate, demonize, and are quietly working towards the destruction of the USA.

Israel is the "canary in the coal mine." Israel's destruction will effectively end America's influence in the middle east, especially given Obama's and Hillary's work on turning the middle east and north Africa into islamist strongholds.

That’s reasonable, the reasone to destroy both come from common ideology. Today, it’s radical Islam.
