The US/NATO created Al Qaeda in the late seventies to fight the Russians. The US/NATO is using Al Qaeda on this very day to overthrow the legitimate government of Syria, which has never attacked the USA.

The Patriot Act, the NDAA, the DHS, and the TSA were never about going after Al Qaeda. It was always intended, since its creation by Bush, to go be used to go after the American people, specifically gun owners, libertarians, conservatives, returning vets and anyone else that resists.

Yup, and many here were cheering Bush on at the time. A few of us were warning of the danger of surrendering liberty for so called safety. So how is that Patriot Act working out for you now?
