Wait, he wants to let GIRLS into the scouts also?

The Venturing program of the BSA (formerly known as Explorer Scouts, of "Explorers") has been co-ed for any number of years now. Membership is open to boys and girls between the ages of 14 and 21.

I don't know if Barry the Boob wants to integrate girls into the Boy Scouts proper, which are still all male, last time I checked. But it used to be that if a young lady wanted to join the Scouts, she could join the Explorers at age 14.

What I haven't heard is any explanation from Barry the Sniveling Boob as to why he thinks opening membership in the Boy Scouts to gays is going to strengthen the Scouts. Strangely silent, he has been, on that point.
