The single member district concept also forces us into two Broad Coalitions ~ one Democrat and the other Republican. That's the way we get enough voters together to win an election ~ which takes 50%+1 vote in a single member district.
There are socialists in both coalitions ~ always have been and always will ~ we need their votes ~ but we want to minimize their influence. BTW, the law does not allow us to mutilate their bodies so don't go there.

I know that. I’m just tired of hearing all the whining about RINOs and the GOPe. We need to grow up and realize that the people we elect do not believe in our conservatism after the election. They have to lie to us to get elected and then we are shocked that they lied.
The Democrats have the same problem. Their candidates are communists who have to pretend to care for the middle class that they despise more than anything in the world.
But as long as Americans demand that politicians lie to them and treat them like children, the politicians will lie to them and treat them like children! I just want people to take friggin’ red pill and wake up to reality. Then, we can have a real discussion of a realistic future and minimize the influence of the extreme Marxists.
