Which city, San Fran or Baltimore, will burn tonight, win or lose? I predict Baltimore.

I was living in Baltimore City the last time the Ravens won the Super Bowl and believe it or not, there wasn’t any rioting or looting or fires. It did sound like a combination of New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July however. I saw and heard lots of fireworks and fire crackers (OK there might have been some gun fire in their too) and heard lots of car horns and people outside cheering for hours, but surprisingly, people were pretty well behaved. It’s sort of weird. Baltimore is such a football town it sort of even transcends race and even the criminals take the night off to watch the game. I hope it is the same this time.

“... there wasn’t any rioting or looting or fires”.

There wasn’t.. you’re right MD. If we can hold this, there will be lots of dancing and yells of joy. Shhhhhh...... we have some fireworks ourselves. Aren’t we hoodlums?!!! LOL!

I happened to be in Balto that night and was thinking earlier how out of character it seemed that there was no violence. Unlike U of MD when it won the NCAA Championship. Odd.
