All I've heard him say is that not securing the border is a deal breaker. That means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This bill will get reconstructed, drafted and pushed through just like health care so that it can be passed in order to see what's in it. Democrats promising to a provision is as worthless as the oath of office they took in vain.
Once any version of this bill passes, it's "Katie bar the door". All Mr. Rubio needs to do (as I suggested when I called his Miami office) is go on national TV and ask the democrats to include that the back ground check provision will mandate pulling voter registration roles to see if felony vote fraud has been committed by applicants.
The dems would scream "racist" , but it won't happen anyway because the fix is in - count on it.
