While the percentage of "ultra-Orthodox" Jews who vote Democrat in national elections is still too high, I doubt it quite reaches those numbers.
Local elections are another matter. Unfortunately, NYC is a one-party town and Orthodox Jewish leaders have a three thousand year history (from the time of the Babylonian Exile) of trying to maintain good relations with whoever is in power. I don't like it either, but that's the way it is. There are people, however, who are working to reverse this.
