Going Rogue: Palin says she plans to 'shake up the GOP machine' w/ $1.2M raised through her PAC
The London Daily Mail ^ | January 29, 2013 | Leslie Larson

Posted on 01/29/2013 2:34:17 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Once again Sarah Palin is showing that she has no plans to play by the rules.

She has parted ways with FOX News after a turbulent relationship with the conservative cable news channel, taken pot shots at pundits in the 'lame stream media' and slammed her own party for selecting Mitt Romney as the 2012 Republican presidential nominee.

Now the former Alaska governor says she'll use the $1.2 million raised through her SarahPAC to 'shake up the GOP machine' and unveiled a vague vision on how she'll get her message out to a larger audience.

News broke on Friday night that she had not renewed her $1 million annual contract with FOX News, after three years as a contributor on Roger Ailes' network.

Palin then spoke out on Saturday, in an interview with Breitbart.com, saying that she was working to 'free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation.'

Calling the future 'wide open' with opportunities, she shared how she plans 'to pick battles wisely, and all in due season' - hinting that she still has a fight left in her.

Her vision for the future coincided with the financial disclosure from her Political Action Committee, SarahPAC, with records released on Monday showing she ended 2012 with nearly $1.2 million in the bank.

She raised around $20,790 between Nov. 27 and Dec. 31 and spent $67,800 during that time period on expenses including consulting, speech writing and legal fees...

Actually, I think it is because he was EXACTLY what they wanted him to be.

They are Republicans first.

Now Sarah has stuck it to the GOP establishment many times.

She made enemies of them up in Alaska and of McCain's staff.

Good enemies to make I say.

She seems to think that the GOP can be turned to our side. While that remains to be seen, the PDSer's here sure as hell aren't going to help her or us promote Conservatism.

Anyone who knows you personally should know your voice. Are you speaking of acquaintances?

That’s kind of funny Jim, because when I clicked on the link it took me to Brenda.

Strange! - Explains the confusion from my end anyway.

HEY! Neither apply. We're called CONSERVATIVES.

That the older the FReepers the more Liberal or worse "Republican" they happen to be.

Actually it’s the same thing that I noticed. I’ve been shocked a couple of times. You expect the older signups to be VERY conservative.

Please. Look I’m agreeing with you that Sarah is a great patriot. I’m not slandering her. I’m just saying when I’ve heard her, she is always talking about how great McCain is. I don’t have to post any links to prove what I’ve heard.

Get a grip.

No, I mean Friends and what nots.

I guess the phone distorts my voice enough to sound like some random woman so they think they have called the wrong number. :/

There was a wonderful rebuttal here.

Yes!! I did see that, but was on my way out the door (had no time to respond or back it up).. BUT, since you posted a LINK, I think I will REPOST it, for all of our benefit ;)

I’m relatively new here. I don’t post that often, but I constantly read different threads throughout the day.

All three of your assertions are false.

First, while I’ve seen the term Amish used to refer to inner-city thugs, I was never really alarmed by its use. At the end of the day, white males are the one demographic now targeted by all other demographics. This latest election is just further proof of that. Every single minority demographic (blacks, Hispanics, Asians, homosexuals, Muslims, single women, etc) all joined together to vote for a man who wants to undermine the Constitution. Most of these groups have conflicting belief systems (ie Muslims and homosexuals), yet they vote together in their desire to hamper white males.

As for your second point, you clearly aren’t conservative. History won’t be on our side? Why do people like you act like homosexuality is some new phenomenon? Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of time. It was wrong back then, and it’s wrong now. Even if you don’t believe in God, homosexuality is against the laws of nature. Two males will never produce a child. And please don’t point to homosexuality in nature as a rebuttal. Number one, you will be using animals, without morals or a conscience, to justify your position. Number two, if two animals do engage in pure homosexuality, they will never spread their seed, their lineage will come to an end, and by default, they will be considered Darwinian failures. You honestly can’t call yourself a conservative, while calling for an acceptance of homosexuality. They are pushing their agenda on 5 year olds now, but to you, a pathetic excuse of a conservative, that’s acceptable.

To your last point, I haven’t seen anyone advocate violence on this site. However, when discussing the potential of gun confiscation, posters have brought up their intention to resist.

No one on this site wants violence. We all have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. We hold strong to our conservative beliefs because we want our loved ones to grow up in the same country of our fore fathers. We believe that our country is the greatest in the world, and we’re proud of our heritage and our ancestors. We believe in the Constitution, we believe in unalienable rights, and we believe in a God who bequeathed these rights unto us. There are progressives who wish to undermine these rights.... If the day ever comes, when our backs are pushed against the wall to the breaking point.... Do you expect us to cower in the corner with you? Or do you expect us to stand up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

Oh, and if you DO need me to post something...here’s something from Nov 2012...

Gov. Palin praises McCain’s tenacity on Benghazi
Via Facebook

Senator John McCain’s expertise, integrity, and conscientious questioning of the Obama administration’s Benghazi fiasco must be listened to and respected. America should be thankful for his passion and intelligence on this all-important national security issue.

- Sarah Palin.

http://sarahpalinjournal.blogspot.com/2012/11/gov-palin-praises-mccains-tenacity-on.html

THIS is what I’m talking about. She STILL thinks he’s the cat’s meow. THAT bothers ME. If it doesn’t bother you, so be it. But like I said, I still like her, I still think she’s a great patriot and someone who would do good for this country. It’s NOT slander to point out a persons stance that I disagree with. Jeesh.

I was on a tuna/garlic kick for my hbp. Was eating tuna salad w/ advocado. Someone mentioned the mercury in tuna. Not sure if I believe it or not, so I started mixing things up.

I have NO idea what to believe now a days!!

Your post made me try on a pair of my most favorite white jeans to see if I could fit in them.

They fit!!! A tad tight, but not tight enough to be embarrassed in public! I’m so excited!!!

I was able to lower my bp as well as my heart rate to a normal level with a diet change. I did not do it for weight loss, but to lower my bp and heart rate. The weight loss was just an added bonus.

I let myself “go” when I decided to become celibate. I took away one thing and replaced it with another. I finally realized what I did to myself, so I changed that as well.

I still have much work to do on myself....it is SOOOO never ending!

But thank you for making me try on my favorite jeans. I feel elated!!

The news about Sarah AND fitting into my favorite jeans has given me a much needed boost!! (((hug)))

I’ve been reading and studying The Art of War by SUN TZU. I think Sarah might be as well.

Seems we have many a trojan horse amongst us. Time for us to shine the light of truth directly into their eyes.

Most were.

The problem is that a bunch left when Mojo was making trouble. Jim finally had to zot mojo, but few ever came back in an active sense. Also, some have died too.

Pet sites are warning cat owners about mercury in tuna. It’s worth looking up some info on canned tuna etc.

There was a rash of zots of older signups. It was alarming as they were leaning liberal "R"" and much less conservative. I wondered if they were retirees and worried about retirement and healthcare.

I know that we have lost some stellar people to illness and death. It's inevitable but still...................it leaves fewer voices.
