I wonder if they are keeping a record. The only reason you are getting a background check is to purchase a firearm.
Someone told me they put a hold on anyone who has had an FBI check run on them.
I have no idea if that is right or not but I worked at a job for most of my life which required an FBI check. For some reason they kept asking me to submit additional fingerprints. After the 3rd request I just ignored them. Nothing ever came of it.
During training, I got a phone call from our internal security asking me to correct some odd information. I immediately knew what they were doing and just laughed it off, giving them the info.
I later talked to one of them and he said it was a stupid idea. He said they did the same thing to him thinking he would just blurt out some evil deed he had done in the past.
So there were some questions about my past but there should not have been and I guess they finally let it go.
