Why would a criminal submit to a background check any way?
WaPo......ruh roh. I am thinking soon they will get that memo or phone call. Heck maybe even a visit from the admin.
I can’t help but wonder if BO himself could pass a background check. If he is using a fake SSN would it kick him out?

My guess is that 99% of those declined were either errors or people who had no idea they had committed some relatively minor crime in their past.
The number of hard core criminals actually kept from obtaining a gun by any means would be close to zero.
