I hadn't thought about that since you could turn on the tv, and go make a PB&J before a picture ever showed up on the screen.

And they did that because everybody and their brother was in bed asleep in order to be ready for WORK the next day.

My how times have changed.

They didn’t even have stations whe I was a kid. Radio did sign off at midnight too though. :)
