The Osprey is a somewhat smaller bird, but hassles Bald Eagles when it can. I watched as the smaller male Osprey chased a Bald Eagle about a mile from the Osprey's nest. The Osprey returned and—I swear—he looked left and right, as though to ask, "Did anybody see what I just did?"

Crows harass Bald Eagles also.

It’s called “mobbing” and they can keep it up for hours. The eagle stays put on a branch near the nest because there are eaglets in it.
