Former US Army Special Operations Commander Jerry Boykin, who has been making the talk shows telling the absolute truth about women in the infantry and special ops, debating retired Col Martha McSally, former pilot in the Air Force. No doubt in my mind that McSally is an Obama supporter. She is so naive she actually thinks that women can serve in ground special operations, exactly like a man. She actually started belittling Gen Boykin for having the gall to say women should not be in ground combat units, and damn sure not the special forces. I guess all those years of going to the officers club, then flying a mission, then going right back to the officers club, then to the BOQ, actually means she could have hung with the special forces. Typical Air Force Officer flyer, pampered while NCOs do all the work. I wish Wallace would have asked her about her basic training and how it compared to Gen Boykin's. Would have loved to had seen how red her face got.

You should do a little research before spouting.

The IDF made this mistake long ago and now do not allow women into their special forces, infantry, or armor.

No time (or habit) to read the article. Is McSally, as the name indicates, a female?

Yeah, that’s the thing about being an Air Force pilot ... on a good day, you go back to hot steaks, cold beer, and an air-conditioned hooch.
On a bad day, you end up dead.
On a really bad day, you end up bunking with John McCain and dining with Hanoi Jane.

I will toss aside the snide remarks about McSally being an Obama supporter (she lost a congressional race this cycle running as a republican) and how pilots only hang out at the O'club (which is more fun than having missiles the size of telephone poles shot at you).
The point is that ground combat specialties have intense physical requirements that most women and most men can't do. Women can't because they are big enough or strong enough. Most men that can't for the exact same reasons. If we ever sacrifice that standard then we will get extra people killed in this war and the next.
I already fear for the Navy. Bombs don't get lighter, fires don't get cooler just because you are weaker. It doesn't matter if 99.9% of your career is spent banging away at a keyboard if you get killed during that .1% when you needed to move a huge piece of metal or close a water tight door to survive.

An important aspect of this which isn’t often discussed by the feminists is: What can our female combatants expect when they captured by our current enemies?
I imagine it won’t be dinner and a movie.

Wallace sounds a little combative to the general. Fox has become another “news” network conservatives should avoid.

There are no women participating in the NFL,NBA,MLB,Men's Professional Soccer, Men's Professional Rugby, Tennis, Golf - why?Because biology / physiology make men bigger, faster, stronger, and by nature more aggressive. Infantry, Special Ops, Armor all require the same attributes of the most physically demanding professional sports in order to be successful except in a life or death situation under the most hostile of living conditions. The GI Jane movie fantasy will result in unnecessary battlefield deaths and a massive loss of war fighting effectiveness. Our enemies are laughing.
