Sorry this is nothing new, at least here in California. The only people the Blacks and Hispanics hate more than Whites are each other. And it’s funny because the Blacks blame all white people for slavery, when many’s families were not even in the U.S at the time, but it’s the Hispanics that are directly competing with them for jobs, schooling and government hand outs.
It goes deeper than never having owned slaves, they claim the land by birthright as the descendants of España.
The “secessionist South” movement gets jeers from the Left but praise for reconquista and illegal immigration with the support of the Mexican government.
I am surprised the media covered this. Usually it is swept under the rug unless whitey is involved. Just a thought but the media is slipping in not trying to make these Mexican street gang members out to be white. The Florida case comes to mind.

Compton was the last I knew, largely black. Did I miss something?
I certainly hope the white democrats make sure those black people are without guns. Of course they can get their stepnfetchits Holder and Obama to disarm them, for the children of course.
You make a good point — there will be no “Hispanic guilt” to parallel “white guilt” (felt by liberals, even if none of their ancestors ever owned slaves). However, there was plenty of slavery in old Mexico (not all of it involving blacks).

Same here in northern NJ; Hispanics are displacing blacks economically and politically, and now blacks can see the price they’re paying for unbridled support for abortion-on-demand and BJ Clinton’s welfare reform. They simply don’t have the numbers, and whites couldn’t be bothered to intervene (de-funding urban police forces and such). The Hispanics are effectively eliminating the black underclass in every way; that is why they were imported to begin with. Liberals felt urban blacks would simply not grow up, so they took steps; each black population center is ringed by a Hispanic one that draws tighter like a noose.
Can you imagine if this were whites beating up, threatening and making racial slurs against this black family??
It would be 24 hour national news on every station for weeks on end, every white within 50 miles would be rousted out for questioning, Je$$e would be making up rhymes while being fawned over by the msm, Sharpton would be angling for attention in front of the cameras, obama and Eric the Red would avow to get to the bottom of it.
Eventually, there would be a massive payout to the black family — with Jesse and Sharpton taking their cuts.
Instead, this is local news in LA because it’s not whites that are involved!!

They offered them to drive out of Compton? How nice of them to make such an offer — it’s much better than having to take the bus out of Compton. Most people would have grabbed that offer in a heartbeat.

There’s NO WAY Compton is 25% white!! Zip skinny lists 1 % white and I would question that!
I work near Compton and have to travel through that area all the time.

I worked with a guy who retired a few years ago — said he grew up in Compton in the 50s.
It was like a garden paradise then — clean, safe, perfect weather.

Because, I am from and still live in Southern California, my experience is that Mexicans loath blacks.
Even in this day and age, they will tell you they are lazy, and dirty.
In high school, the fights were always (99%) between blacks and Mexicans.
I actually have been to the Compton Mall (for another reason). We are a production company and our scout went there with myself to barter the cost of location expenses.
Believe it or not, it’s mostly mexicans, including the shop clerks. The blacks have been kicked out of their own neighborhood.

Why would the ese’ respect the homeys? I have friends who own shops in the fabric district and you could see the pity in their eyes when these homeless homeys are naked, homeless bums in the same area while the illegals work for the shop owners. You don’t see the mexicans half-naked begging for money..
Well in other news this week, the State population in general (if I understood the story correctly) is poised to tip to majority Hispanic in the near future.
So I suppose, this is just part of the larger trend.
"Hispanics" or "Latinos" include both the descendants of Spaniards and the descendants of the Indians and Africans they conquered and/or enslaved.
Most Mexicans in the US are of Mestizo (mixed) or Indian ancestry, so yes, they don't feel as though they owe anything special to the descendants of North American slaves.

In the Valley it’s Mexicans vs Armenians.
I used to take a bus transfer thru Santa Ana, on 4th St. My experience has been that Latinos may cut your heart out, for a nickel, but they will NEVER beg.

My cousin's best high school friend was Armenian, married another Armenian, and moved to the Valley in the 1970’s.
I hadn't realized they are a distinctive ethnic group in Southern California.
I know Chinese folks who grew up in Compton.

I think there is a basic misunderstanding here. That is, under most circumstances, Hispanics do not object to *white* people in their area in California. They have, however, lost patience with *black* people in their area in California.
White people are excessively tolerant of the misbehavior of black people, to a great extent out of “white guilt”. However, Hispanics have none of this, and when they lose patience, their alternative is “ethnic cleansing”, pushing black people out of their neighborhood.
Some years ago, after a particularly bloody fight between the Crips and the Bloods gangs, the Mexican Mafia had finally had enough. They ordered a cease fire, and anyone who violated it, the MM promised to come down on like a ton of bricks, and they meant it. So there was peace.
However, the MM knew that peace would not last, so they ordered the Mexican gangs to encourage blacks to move out of more Hispanic areas.
This effort was likely redoubled with events like the Rodney King riots. Hispanics want nothing to do with that, and do not want it where they live. And while whites might snivel about how the rioters are unhappy, the Hispanics do not care about motives, only that it does not impact them.
Granted, once you get a large enough Hispanic community, it will follow its own rules, and any white person who ventures in there will be looked at with suspicion. No big surprise. And Hispanics also form gangs and have that problem as well. But overall, in polite situations, polite Hispanics do not object to white people.
They dominate Glendale and have a big presence in the rest of the Valley. I moved out of NoHollywood in ‘05 after being there 15 years.
Had never heard of Armenians ‘til we moved there in ‘90 where there was an Armenian family downstairs from us that was wonderful. The smell of their cooking could drive you crazy! Incredible!
There was an Armenian owned body shop next to the motorcycle shop I worked at in Van Nuys ran by a great family.
Interestingly enough, both families warned me not to trust Armenians. Never had any trouble with Armenians or their gangs. Now latino gang bangers and Russian thugs are a whole nother story.
My aunt grew up in Compton. She said it wasn’t a bad place to live, although the Long Beach Earthquake hit it pretty hard.
Simple explanation, the stats were taken from democrat voting rolls.

Maybe the Mexicans also disliked the higher crime rates that accompany -another- segment of the population near everywhere they proliferate. The stuff black people don’t like blog has good crime per influx numbers.
And the media will call them WHITES and blame Whites for this. When they commit a crime, they are listed under White. When they are a victim, they are not.
