I think one thing that needs to be re-enphacized is how necessary it is going to be to have alternative communication trees set up in advance if it ever comes to house to house raids.
All of the penguins are going to be standing around about a block away while the raiders are hut-huting around down the street. A little flanking action could prove effective.

Exactly. They may be successful on the first few, but after that, they will be ambushed and outnumbered.
