Although I thought I could guess, during my Dad and Mom's lives, I never knew what their votes were, and neither probably knew what the other's was, IIRC.
There are some places of employment where BO supporters make their presence loudly known through BO paraphernalia posted in their work areas or on their car bumpers.
“I thought your vote would be secret, known only to you. This business owner is only firing blabbermouths, right?

Indeed. I once had liberal bosses and I never discussed politics in any way, form or shape around them. I was there for the paycheck I needed and nothing else.

A different time period. Earlier generations were taught to value having a secret vote. Today’s narcissic “look at me!” generation are taught to post every thought and opinion they have on Facebook or something similar. After all, they find themselves and their views fascinating, why shouldn’t everyone else? ;)
Sidenote: I remember a news story from the last election where some liberal Obama teacher was asking her students who they would vote for if they could. One student said his parents voted for McCain and she berated him for it. I thought what business is it of hers to intrude like that?
