Paving the way for soon-to-be female generals. The principal reasoning behind women in combat is so that they get a fair shake at reaching flag rank, something that would be otherwise out of reach for someone without combat exposure. (That’s “exposure” as opposed to “experience”; some flag officers got credit for being in a combat zone for a minimal period.) So women will be allowed to get their combat tickets punched, a reprise of the Vietnam fraud, so the admin can fast track them to flag rank. It’s not about breeding warriors, it’s about putting stars on female shoulders by any means available. That’s the true equality goal, to hell with battlefield results.
The only thing ‘females on front lines’ will accomplish is a dramatic reduction in female enlistments, which leaves only the gay problem to screw up the military.
Austin’s flag rank was from Sept 10, 2010 to December 2011 as Commander Iraq forces (after the combat missions were all over). This was an administrative role.
He was also vice chief of staff of XVIII Airborne Corps and then Commander (increased rank to LTGeneral).
This was a command once held by Hugh Shelton (whom some will remember as a watercarrier for clintons).
So from Vice Chief of Staff of the Army to CIC Centcom.
You do not promote a non-warrior to our Special Ops commander— this will not sit well. Of course McChrystal has nothing to say either.
I believe you have nailed it. Some time in the future the Democrats want another cult figure to run for office and what could be more cultish than an superficially black guy with a comical sidekick boob for a VP than a lesbian general with two boobs and a hispanic VP to cover her arse. The media would have the mother of all orgies over it.
I am thinking the future is bright for the likes of horrible Holly Graf !
