It’s with an odd sense of pride that I spot three or four hit on that list. Never going to happen. They can pass the laws but they can’t force compliance on 100 million gun owners

Unlike Healthcare, they can't deduct our guns from our paycheck. *If*/When they succeed in making us all criminals, we have a lot less to lose by engaging in civil disobedience and otherwise ignoring their rules. Once they force us to become criminals, we'll become much more creative in disrupting and starving the beast.

Hopefully, saner heads will prevail.

Exactly right - force being the operative word. Even if the majority of gun owners chose to buckle to such an unconstitutional gun grab, those who didn't would still far outnumber the federal jackboots.

There are more gun owners than just the ones they know about because of gun registration.

:)

Those who refuse to register are going to be the bigger problem for them. They’ve already demonstrated an inclination to not obey draconian, unconstitutional laws.
