IS THIS THE FUTURE OF AMERICA? IMMIGRANTS HELPING TERRORISTS?
- A 31-year-old man has been arrested in London on suspicion of terror offences in Syria, Scotland Yard has said.
The unnamed man will be charged with the "preparation of terrorist acts" contrary to section five of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He was arrested by counter terrorism (SO15) officers investigating people travelling to Syria to support terrorist activities.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court in London on Friday.
