Re “Cat-like reflexes” - its actually easy to do and it science-based. Flies on the ceiling, the table, wherever first launch vertically and so you swipe above them and with “normal” timing you can grab them. Once done, I just throw them against the wall. Luckily we don’t have many flies around here otherwise I’d have to vacuum more often. ;-)
