If Jay Leno can print parts (gears) for his Stanley Steamer?

When I watched both videos, especially the Beck video, I got the definite impression that a fully functioning weapon could be printed. Even if on each particular video only parts were mentioned.

I am NOT in anyway knowledgeable about this stuff however.

No. You can print a lower receiver that can be built to be functional.

For the magazine, I’m not sure how they are doing that. Normally, you’d have a metal spring with a polymer follower. If they figured out a way to “print” a poly spring inside the body of the magazine with an integral follower, that’d be quite a trick.

Thats the impression he wants you to have but I think its incorrect.

Not sure why Glenn is pushing this story. I think he’s just trying to stir things up.

if anything this makes magazines a pointless exercise in law.

This is about taking civil rights without due process.
