If you think it's bad now, just wait until the smart kids quit going into medicine because of ObamaCare... it's gonna get a lot worse.
That already happened years ago. The smart kids can make a lot more money selling widgets or manipulating computers to trade based on algorythms with no insurance than they can practicing medicine and paying $200k per year in malpractice insurance. Furthermore, I saw an article yesterday where women on average make more money as physician assistants than as doctors. Yes, there are still some well intentioned smart American kids that get through the system, but it is becoming rarer and rarer. I would venture to bet that most of the people in med school today aren’t even American.
