We were once a people of the people, by the people, for the people.
Yesterdays speech would have not taken so long if it were just boiled down to: of the government by the government for the government.
There had been democracies for centuries before the USA was formed. The significant difference with the formation of the USA was that power did not go from God to government to the people but from God to the people then to the government.
Apparently, the people have cried out to government to replace that chain.
And the people cried out for a king, and it was granted........it did not turn out well for anyone.
Asking Chrissy about his tingles is a big no-no. The last person who brought it up set off a long rant that involved the disgusting sexual pejorative “teabagger.”
I get “chills” knowing that an America-hating radical just got re-elected to the highest office of the land.
I got chills just thinking about what was happening to our country during the Inauguration - eerily similar to the sensation of visiting Auschwitz or Dachau. Maybe something deep inside Chrissy Matthews is trying to warn him.
