These look like weasel words, but I'm not sufficiently familiar with the laws of Texas to be sure. IOW, it looks like they're banning them when they know they can't. Don't know.

I think they wrote that with the idea that the law might change at some future date. I don’t think they can keep you from keeping a gun locked in your vehicle any more.
