I have to look at the sunny side of this stupidity...The more bad things that happen to New Yorkers, the sooner they may relate them with their ignorant government.
Unfortunately, urban liberals are so far gone that their only reaction bad news of any sort is that they need the government to fix it. Even if the government is the problem.

I don’t hold outm uch hope- look at cali- Mass, LA etc- the worse thigns get, the more the peopel cower in those states- thjey just don’t get it- it appears they are incapable of getting it- unfortunately- these cities are lsot-
