Another submarine museum ship is The USS Pampanito, a Balao-class submarine from WWII, now a museum ship in San Francisco, played the part of the USS Stingray in the movie “Down Periscope” with Kelsey Grammer.
WOW! Now this a tour that I could take.

I tried to go through a Russian sub by the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA, but my claustrophobia reared its ugly head...I had to get out. This visual tour of the USS Pampanito is much more my speed.
