The very first thing I did after retiring, was to move out of New Jersey to Pennsylvania. I had a non-resident CCW, issued from PA, went to the Court House, and in 45 minutes a new resident permit for Pennsylvania was issued.
Just think, I had to wait 89 days for a permit to buy a handgun in NJ. Yes, the detective in charge, would hold the permit until the very last day.
I feel sorry for you guys.....

In Pennsy you are also able to go to a gun store and dealer and walk out with whatever you wanted and as many as you wanted within 10 minutes of the Federal check.The good stuff is legal too. Hi Cap mags,flash hiders, bayonet lugs etc.AND THEY STILL ARE!!OPEN carry is legal too.(Don’t forget Castle Doctrine was signed into law in 2012.
