Known as the Dream Act, the bill would provide a way to help poor immigrant families afford college through the state Tuition Assistance Plan and academic assistance programs. It would also create a commission to raise money for scholarships. I ask if illegals are experiencing financial hardship to come up with funds to pay for in state tuition.Will this same logic be used to say we need financial aid to buy automoblie insurance.Otherwise we cannot pay our bills, have food, still we have no money left over to buy automoblie insurance... Seems unfair Americans get students loans and spend decades trying to pay it all back.The illegals will be very happy to be given free college educations.Illegal dreamers get very good benefit packages to paved the way yo make it almost free.

Uh.....NY is flat broke like most of the blue states. Where are they going to get the money?
NY is THE highest taxed state in the union already. That's why RUSH left.

Because of their new anti-defence legislation, even the hunters who travel a long way to hunt in NY (and pay a hefty price to do it) aren't going to be showing up next year. Hunting, and the licences/regulations associated with it in upstate, WAS a huge part of NY's income.
