Former New York Mayor Ed Koch is back in the hospital for the third time in recent months.
Spokesman George Arzt says Koch went to the hospital around 10 p.m. Saturday with swollen ankles. He says tests on Sunday showed Koch also has some fluid in his lungs.

How’s he doin’? (couldn’t resist)
Hey, Koch is old, with one foot in the grave, whaddya expect? How about list of his dozen or more meds as well, which almost every oldster is taking by that point? Sheesh, leave him in peace, for chrissake. Oh, I forgot, he’s one of the dyed in the wool old school liberals who we need to continue to be made aware of their condition....the only good thing he said in the last couple of months was how disappointed he was in obamao for being so anti-Israeli. Duh, he’s been that way his entire career, Mr. Koch, or is it because he’s a black, leftist, democrat Chicago Jesus that you looked the other way, and when his real person shown through, you were aghast? Just wait, four more years of this American tragedy will continue to lay waste to what was once a great country. But it probably won’t matter by then, because you’ll have gone to whatever eternal reward you may, or may not, believe in.
I hope he gets better.

Are the sure it’s fluid ? Or something more solid and brown in color.
Aw, for a second I thought it was Bloomberg.
Liberal Koolaid does it every time!
That’s how my mom went; repeated hospitalizations to remove the fluids, till finally she said No More and peacefully died at home of CHF.
He had a change of mind and endorsed Obozo for reelection despite his obvious hatred of Israel - karma is a bitch.....
Goodbye Ed, we don’t need Obama supporters.
It had better not exceed a 16 oz serving!
I had that happen over the period of a few months a long time ago. One day, the left arm felt big, numb and heavy. Ran it off—blew the clots through, maybe—and took aspirin afterward. Continued exercising ever since.
I was working in NYC during Koch’s third term. By that point his mismanagement had turned New York City into a raging sewer of corruption, crime and neglect that had New Yorkers and business’s fleeing the city in droves.
Yep! He belonged behind the fish counter at Zabars, not the mayor’s office.
God Bless, Mayor Koch
That is all.
] He was drafted[6] into the United States Army in 1943 where he served as an infantryman with the 104th Infantry Division, landing in Cherbourg, France in September 1944. He earned two Battle Stars as a Combat Infantryman. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1946.[2]

Don’t agree with him on many things.
Yet we are brothers of a special tribe, so give old guy a break!
