“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious Freedom of the children of God. Rom 8:21

According to the Obama Rule, Americans have certain Rights. They have the right to Obamacare; they have the right to unemployment, the right to an abortion and contraceptive as well as marriage. What they don’t have a right to are their guns or to worship their God and Bible as they see fit. It appears to the President the only rights we don’t have are the ones in the Constitution while the only ones we do have are those which the Party leaders declare as rights, most of which have nothing to do with personal rights or freedoms.

The commies and their pundiots only have a couple of rights they really need to take away. They say citizens have no right to own a weapon which people could defend themselves against intruders and eliminate their need for an all powerful gummit to defend them. The other right they need to end is the right to their religion. Religions are a threat to Stalinists since they stand in the way of a godlike gummit. Christians tend to be more independent and self sufficient with arcane ideas like putting their faith and hope in God rather than Obama. They also tend to believe in morality and personal responsibility which goes against the teachings of their… prophet Obama.

Christians and religious people do not look for the government to tell them what the state dictates right and wrong when they have a Bible which clearly explains right from wrong. The liberal establishment uses terms like right to an abortion since it sounds attractive as they know it will have an emotional connection with women. They use the same argument about homosexual marriage that homosexuals have the mythical right to marry since the liberals have decided it is a right. This all sounds warm and fuzzy enough to get votes but it takes away the rights of individuals and churches to reject the option to provide or fund abortions or perform homosexual marriages. So the Christians have to give up their rights so the Democrats can allow a small minority to have additional rights.

The anti-gun zealots have been trying to take away the peoples’ right to keep and bear arms for nearly fifty years. They understand the need to eliminate enough freedom to control citizens. When a Democrat offers a right it is as a need to either manipulate the masses into believing they are doing good or redistribution of wealth or freedom. In the case of guns it is to take freedoms away from people while manipulating women’s fears to the liberal point of view. Real men don’t care about people owning guns so the liberal establishment plays on fear to make people believe they will be safer under gun control and elimination. It has nothing to do with facts or proof the media establishment will sell this narrative to the uninformed until it becomes a believed truth like Global Warming. Anybody who argues the truth of the matter will be a heretic and destroyed.

With the three pillars of power, academia, media and the DNC they can manipulate the people into giving up their freedom and income through a sophisticated sales triad. Until and when people begin to ignore and fight this triad we will continue to be sold these myths to steal our rights and freedoms. Until we have elected officials who say no and stand up to these pillars we will continue to become more and more a soviet style dictatorship and less of a free republic. There is only one way to stop this and that is to elect conservatives rather than moderates who would rather slow the loss of freedom rather than regain it.

The gun taking is simply another method for Premier Obama to consolidate his dictatorial powers inside the District of Corruption. He knows he will not be challenged allowing him to take guns from law abiding citizens and forcing them to rely on their police to protect them rather than themselves. This is a dangerous path which will give him more power over the individual. The triad has to point at the guns and conservatives who own those guns as the villain otherwise they would have to look at the breakdown of society as the issue. Rather than pointing out the possibility the kid in Denver who dressed up like the Joker at the opening of a Batman movie may have been acting out fantasy into reality, they pointed at his gun magazine. They wouldn’t even consider the possibility that shoving violent movies and video games down boys’ throats may cause them to wonder what it would be like to actually kill people rather virtually. No, that would open the possibility of axing real questions about our social breakdown thanks to those same people.

What we have with the President and his socialist allies is a redefining of rights as a way of removing our true rights. This is a craven move to become a more dictatorial country to take the final step to a soviet country. We have already lost most of our rights through nationalizing the banking, auto, healthcare and soon the oil that they must redefine what a right is and what is not. What are not rights are the ones which give us individual freedom such as religion and guns. What they define as rights are what give more and more control to gummit such as healthcare, birth control, housing, unemployment and secondary education. We know who provides and determines versus who receive those benies…er…rights and who won’t. Party members will and do receive the graft while non-Party members do not or want. It is a corrupt system that is over a century old and now they have perfected it to a near dictatorship which is going to be hard if not impossible to defeat. Hello Hollywood and goodbye Freedom.

Pray for America

a bit negative there Bray, but the stark reminders of what we face are needed.

I just read a piece that our comeback lies in the States (which can then again become “united” states). Opting out of Obamacare, cutting back on entitlements, incrementally and then maybe altogether. Feds can laugh at the red states in flyover land, but that is the key.

26 state Attorneys Generals joined in a law suit against Obamacare. That is over half the states (unless you use Bambi’s count). And still the USSCt turned a blind eye and a deaf ear

There simply must be a way to force resolution of important issues before the USSCt. They have batted back these issues on grounds of lack of standing, prematuraty, unripeness, etc. But we need them to address:

1. Does not abortion deprive “life” from the unborn child? If state legislatures define life as beginning at conception (instead of viability outside womb), can the Court say it is OK to ignore the baby’s right to life? Does the father of the unborn child have any rights or say in the matter?

2. Can Obamacare force companies to pay their employees for abortions and contraceptives if that runs counter to owner of company’s religious views? If political contributions are permitted from corporations as “persons” (Citizens United v FEC), why can’t corporations be considered persons with vested religious freedoms?

The Court is ducking too many issues. The attorney advocacy is pathetic and possibly compromised (intimidated by Chicago style gangsta street punk tactics.)

Something for Patriots and historians on FR to consider today,
after being systematically lied to by the MSM,
now, and for the last four years.

On July 25th, 1787, John Jay wrote to George Washington,
then Presiding Officer of the Constitutional Convention:

"“Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable
to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners
into the administration of our national Government;
and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American Army
shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.”

The Convention agreed and without debate the provision suggested by Jay
was written into the Constitution ... only to be ignored later.

Wow talk about powerful stuff!!

Does not get any better!

So true as well leftward leaning academics brainwash our kids from cradle to grave while the media dutifully pushes out the messages from commie inspired radicals now in control of govt./DNC headquarters.

Bray hits a home run one more time!

Excellent analysis as usual, bray!

When somebody smiles and tells you he is doing it "for your safety and protection", what he really means is he is doing is for his safety and protection!

I think we can assume that the Marxist state here in America will collapse in a manner resembling the Marxist collapses of the 20th century.

For one thing, the elitist structure just becomes a tightening noose around its own neck, purging more and more of its own members as the pie gets smaller. Support eventually erodes as the numbers are such that the tank commanders sent to the breakaway parliament are rather easily persuaded to turn their cannons around and point them at the ruling establishment.

For another, sheer decadence and particularly moral decay inside the primary institutions gives rise to legacy moral causes and structures, aka Christianity. When Gdansk was a labor-only movement it was one thing; when it became a Christian movement too, that was ballgame.

Also, the sheer impossibility of a centrally planned economy takes it toll. Look for black markets to begin to emerge here—then you’ll know the writing is on the wall. You already see education and media going underground in a post-modern sense. From home-schooling to log-on universities to conservative news outlets online, you see the new black market already taking shape and crimping the Marxist establishment at Harvard or CBS or the New York Times. Think of a place like FR as the sound of Solzenhitsyn tapping on the wall of his gulag cell to spread the word. I’m expecting black market health care arrangements of some sort to counter Obamacare. Why not? They crushed one kulak and yet another rose up elsewhere.

This communism thing fails. Always has, always will.
