Except the UK has a predominantly Conservative govt, a Tory PM, and the political shift in the public is to the right and euroscepticism. UKIP, who are the real rightwing party here, have never been bigger.
Actually the British do, but its a favourite lie here to say we dont. Usually with a fork analogy.
...that’s good info to know - thanks for updating the myth.
Can you link from a website - what type of 2.3m style weapons you guys can own?
http://www.gunrunner.cc/firearms_laws.htm
Just wondering - and do you have to have a permit for each weapon owned - or just one for each class (rifle, shotgun, etc) Can you Conceal Carry in Britain? Or just Northern Ireland due to pass violence with the Catholics?
Just wondering...
Hi.
You need a licence for each type of weapon, so one for a rifles and one for shotguns. As long as you can store them safely, and bought them legally, you can have as many as you want of each.
There are 930000 licences for 2.3m weapons. So there may actually be nearer to half a million owners, as many may have a licence for both rifles and shotguns (divide 930000 by 2= 465000).
You cant conceal carry on the UK mainland unless you have a PPW permit (personal protection permit), which is given only to those whose lives may in constant danger due to their background, work etc.
