Saw a bumper sticker the other day which read: “Religious freedom is defined by the distance between religion and the state.”

To which I thought, “Then the Soviets had the most religious freedom of anyone on the planet.”

"Foremost among the rights Americans hold sacred is the freedom to worship as we choose," proclaimed the White House.

A classic obfuscation from Obama. The Constitution does not expound the idea of 'freedom of worship', it recognizes the GOD GIVEN right of freedom of religion. Obama wants to constrain religious people by keeping them in their Sunday morning box, and not having their religious beliefs affect public policy.

Obama claims he's not affecting anyone's right to 'worship', by his mandates, and that may be the case, but that's not what the First Amendment is about.
