They’ve adopted different measures to try to stop that; Red China is starting to grant waivers to some women who have a girl as their first baby, and India has outlawed abortions after the gender of the baby has been made known to the mother. Both are still routinely ignored anyway, and the slaughter continues (with the resulting predictably lopsided male:female ratio). I’d love to see how the US tries to make the legal argument for this; while encouraging people to destroy “sick” babies, they’ll try to outlaw destroying others.
I wish black lawmakers would demand a breakdown of abortions by color; blacks in particular have been decimated by it.
