Yup, they were a fixture of the pre-AWB ‘90s. The original “scary gun!”
I had a Post ban stock set I got for $15 from a MAK 90
I loaned it to fellow and he tried to stain the forestock.
He ruined it.(Cheap ass wood)
Its a shame because like the thumbhole stock or not, it reflected a time in history.
