I agree completely. This takes a major talking point away from Obama. They aren’t holding the economy hostage but this will be an ongoing discussion.

I wouldnt call it ‘begging’ but it does force him to take time away from whatever his is selling Americans (on TV) to complain about it, demand, and accuse Rs, argue for more debt, etc, and the more often the better.

I would think at some point O demands a larger extension through the 2014 race as he did in 2011, but that is a tougher play for him.
