Until this last year, I used to fly a LOT. I can say I NEVER stepped into one of those but I was frisked a lot. I would like to think that there were enough people like me that caused this action.
People need to do the same at “sobriety checkpoints” and refuse to answer ANY questions, no matter how innaucuous. Your time has value. The state disrespects your time and you when they stop you on a fishing expedition to see if you are doing something wrong. I refuse to stand for it.

Yeah, I used to have a lot of company when I opted out, now I usually just stand alone: people have been conditioned!
I used to fly about 25 times a year. I guess I'll have to wait until June until those things are gone for good. I'd like to think we played a very small role in creating the Congressional mandate to get rid of them.
