Sounds to me like he’s setting up his own, cult-of-personality based political party. He obviously feels he’s too big for the Dems; it’s hard to imagine that he believes they’re a restraining influence on him, but he does seem to be convinced that some of them stand in his way.
It is true that people actually didn’t vote for the Dems in the last election, but for Obama, so he’s decided to skip the middle man and throw off any pretense of being just a normal part of our political system.
I fail to see how this can be a qualifying non-profit, but since he controls the IRS, I guess he can do whatever he wants.
