The White House on Thursday again evaded direct questions about whether chemical weapons have been deployed in Syria.
White House press secretary Jay Carney would not deny definitively that chemical weapons were used in the city of Homs, despite claims made in a recent classified State Department cable that such weapons had been used.
Carney referred to the information in the cable as “anecdotal” and said that the State Department could not independently corroborate the information in the cable, which originated from a third-party source on the ground in Syria.

Enough of these weasels who wallow around with homosexual issues (and, perhaps with homosexuals themselves) lying and cheating their way into an eternal hell. They are beyond contempt and will drive this nation into civil war. At the end of this conflict there will be a complete emasculation of those who have driven this nation into utter chaos.
If I recall, you can tell from satellite data if chemical weapons have been used. They leave a chemical signature that can be detected via light. Also, there tend to be lots of bodies and the bodies are in the wind pattern; dead giveaway there. In addition, I’m sure there are ground and air sensors deployed and they’d be going nuts. So, we will know definitively if they’ve been used or not. I’m guessing the dissembling from the White Hut means they have been used.

I am more inclined to think that ‘we cannot say they were not used, therefor they may have been’ will be the government’s pretext for further involvement in yet another empty sand war.
