Ahh, yes, I sometimes forget just how great that fresh sausage from a homegrown hog really tasted. Younger Americans no longer know what pork, beef and chicken is supposed to taste like. If they had some of the real thing they would probably revolt. Even those of us who know have a hard time recalling just how much better food used to taste. No, it is not just that my taste buds are older and less sensitive, even though that is true. I can still recall the last time I got my hands on a piece of real home grown chicken and was shocked at how much better it was than the stuff in the store.
Life used to involve a lot of hard physical labor that most people now can not even imagine but if my body would stand up to it it would be worth all that work just to regain all the other things we have lost. Those who are over sixty may have some idea of what I mean.
Suffice it to say that most large cities now are what I consider hell on Earth. I honestly don’t know how people can live that way. What we tout as a greatly extended “lifespan” is beginning to look more like just taking a very long time to die.

People are spending $300,000 for a Condo Apartment in a huge building, when they could by ten acres with a house on itfor that. A nice house.

Yes you have to travel a bit to go to work, but it’s worth it.
