Saw a gentleman interviewed on Fox Business network regarding what the militants would ask for regarding the Hostages....

Unknown,....it could be money but also possible that they want the Algerian Government to deny landing rights to the French who are moving troops in to the Mali area to fight the Militants there...

Say what you will about the French, they deployed the Foreign Legion into a very similar situation in Kolwezi, Zaire back in 1978.

The hostage takers did not fare well.
