I like the way Governor Rick Perry put it. “The second amendment to the Constitution is a basic right of free people and cannot be nor will it be abridged by the executive power of this or any other president.”

Rick Perry was my choice out of the box precisely because of his views on the Second Amendment and freedom of religion. He was way ahead of his competitors on those issues. Those are the issues we should have cared about.
