The following is a list, provided by the White House, of executive actions President Obama plans to take to address gun violence.
1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

Number two refers to a specific clause in the affordable health care act that protects patients from intrusive questions about guns. Looks like he wants to eliminate the ONLY good thing in that act. I’ll bet he and Polosi are ticked that it got in there.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
Would anyone be surprised to learn that obamacare is at the root of this invasive control?
For every action on this list, we need a similar action regarding our politicians.

Obummer never said the words “bill of rights” nor “constitution”- He equated the second amendment with ‘sportsman and hunters- He said that guns took away the rights of “people to assemble”-at Columbine, Sikh temple- This jerk has to go!
Let’s see, he says rights are denied to those killed by gun violence. Maybe he should consider what rights were denied to the people at the Waco compound. He probably slept through that little fiasco.
Number 9 should uncover the source of Fast and Furious.

Given the left-wing bias of the APA, it won't be long until everybody is diagnosed with some type of unprovable impairment that would exclude them for lawfully possessing a firearm.

That clause in the Affordable Care Act does not prevent Drs. from asking. It prevents Drs. and Insurance entities from creating a database with the answers and using such data to deny coverage or increase premiums. They can ask all they want. See EO #16.

That question was on a form I completed at a new doctor I was going to about two years ago. I answered the question with another question: “Why the hell am I being asked this question to begin with? What does this have to do with my health care?” I’m sure it was duly submitted to the proper DHS intel gathering center.
