Howie led off his show today with hilarious translations of Mumbles Menino's "Mumbonics" dialect from his State of the State (or Commonwealth) speech last night.

Hysterically funny, LOL! If you missed it, Howie said he will re-play it at 6:00pm tonight.

A couple of Massachusetts' political questions:

What's the lowdown on this guy that Coupe DeVal chose as interim MA Senator? (I'm from CT and not as savvy about MA politics)

I thought I heard Howie say a day or two ago that Scott Brown would NOT be running for Kerry's open Senate seat... is that true?

If Brown does run, do you think he has a good chance of winning?

WBZ radio this morning indicated that Scott Brown is considering a run. Most people think that Joe-cubed Kennedy will be coronated in November 2014, but Brown is a known quantity.

Think. A state that would elect a transparent and shameless charlatan like Liawatha is capable of anything.

A report I saw on the local news last night said he's making all the moves that someone preparing a run would do.It mentioned that he still has a good bit of $$$ in his campaign account.

And BTW...Mumbles didn't deliver the State of the Commonwealth Address last night.Geeze,it's bad enough that he's mayor of our most important city. But given that the large majority of Boston's residents are semi-literate like him it stands to reason that he'd be mayor.

Of course... how stupid of me, lol! I know Mumbles is (unfortunately) Mayor of Boston. Naturally Governor Coupe DeVal would deliver the "State of the Commonwealth" speech. Thanks for the correction.

Howie's re-play of the translation of Mumbles' recent speech coming up at 6pm ET...

Thanks to both of you for the info about Scott Brown. Hope he does run. A RINO in that seat is better than yet another Kennedy, IMO. *ugh*

That's what I'm afraid of. I'm still stunned Granny Warren got in - and is now the "Senior Senator" of Massachusetts. I'm not so sure Scott Brown can get elected in MA again. I think the 'RATs were asleep at the wheel during his special election in January 2010. They won't be asleep this time.
