The problem becomes that you are at the mercy of someone who CAN enforce the laws against you at any time.For example, I know my local chief LEO would be willing to sign off on a form 4 for me right now and wouldn’t go after me for gun violations, but what happens if I do something that displeases him?

There is a massive difference between a right and a privilege.

The LEO’s I mentioned are not personal friends of mine, so favoritism doesn’t apply. They are patriots who have stated they will not violate their oaths, and that protection applies to all citizens in their jurisdiction.
