Your going to need to talk to them about this if they really are family.

That being said, people like this have always existed and always will exist. This is precisely why real Democracy’s as apposed to constitutionally finite Republics destroy themselves and oppress their people.

The large share of the population will either be easy fooled out of disinterest and/or preoccupation or they will be corrupted by the bribe of the politician. This happens every time, thou out history.

Our own public education system is not helping matters because the large bulk of the information theses low-info voters do have is generally derived from what little they learned in school.

But the underlining point is most everyone is going to fall for a scam when they never bothers to read the fine print. Unforutnatly it is the reality of life that only a minority of our population has the time or interest to read all the fine print that is now required in the maintenance of the currently massively complex government.

The heart-breaking thing is that my three younger siblings refuse to hear any discussion about their politics at all. I'm forbidden to talk about politics at any family gathering. In every sense of the word my ‘’liberal’’ siblings are like the National Socialists were in Germany.They refuse to allow any difference of opinion and believe big government is the answer to everything. My father, a widower in his mid-eighties and not in the best of health can't be spoken to at all about such matters. My fathers greatest political hero is Fransisco Franco, and my father has proudly said all his life he is a fascist. He votes Democrat because the Democrat Party in America is closet to fascism.Only my two older brothers(I'm from a family of 7 kids) are conservatives but they too hold their tongues. I refuse to and whenever I can I deliberately start arguments with them because I hate their politics, their politics are destroying America and I'm beginning to hate them. My youngest brother is an absolute pugnacious leftie and he and I haven't spoken since our mother died seven years ago today. My youngest sister has no interest in politics and stays out of such discussions. If this were 1861 America or 1936 Spain we'd be shooting at each other for sure.
