It’s a great place to live, work and raise a family.
I know the brewery. I love their guiness-like beer. And the owner is active in conservative/libertarian politics.
The paper caters to the progressives though. Us on the right either don’t buy it, or choose the Grand Rapids Press.
Jack’s coffeeshop is as fantastic as the brewery. I meant to get to the other one but did not have time, and also wanted to see the old Reformed church but it was closed. This means a return trip is in order. I find that I like Michiganders generally, and look forward to encountering Yoopers in the tundra someday.
