It is long past time for everybody to get a grip. There will never be any spending cuts. Never.

This is why the sequestration cuts MUST be allowed to happen, and the cowardly Rs better come up with a great scheme to have the African communist Ubanga share at least some of the blame. ...Which will be no easy task since that scumbag Ubanga has his Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms dishing out the propaganda on his behalf, 24/7.

RE :”It is long past time for everybody to get a grip. There will never be any spending cuts. Never.”

DDD has been pointing this out too.

It will be a long time before I will get over all the ‘conservatives’ demanding that Bohner be the martyr by refusing to put a partial tax cut extension up for vote.
If those tax cuts were not extended the GOP would have got all the blame, Bohner being the focal point for raising taxes, and no-one in the House was willing to be that goat :

Bogus arguments I read on it:
1) A partial extension of tax cuts is raising our taxes
2) If all the taxes went up Republicans would have got the voters support on it and they would have blamed O for the tax increases
3) That if the final bill was scored as a tax increase (treats the GWB tax rates as the base line) then it increases the deficit rather than it cuts it.
The CBO score when they treated it as a tax increase cut the debt $737B over 10 years.
It only scored it as increasing deficits when the baseline was the HIGHER Clinton rates, meaning it was a tax cut.

Republicans will NEVER beat Dems with stuff like this
