One more time and I'm done. My point was never that other players don't get rough treatment from the sports media or the fantasy football crowd, as you are implying.

My point is an unusual number of journalists, and certain other commentators, seem to delight criticizing the guy all out of proportion to his flaws as a player.

Thats not worshiping Tim Tebow, its acknowledging reality.

My personal opinion is its not directed so much at the player as it is those who admire him. Some kinda weird passive agressive thing.

And my point is that if you don’t pay attention to the NFL how could you know that? It would be like me saying Tiger Woods gets too much positive coverage, I don’t pay attention to golf I have no idea who’s getting what coverage in the golf journalism world. The coverage I see of Tebow is generally positive, yeah his stats stink, but the journalists generally seem to like him. They’d prefer to have something other than flaws to talk about, but his body of work doesn’t allow for that.
